Extraterrestrial Research Association (METRA) Generally called ‘Sakínah’ in muslim literature, the specific one in which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) ascended is known as the ‘Mi’ráj’. They are also referred to as ‘Flying Carpets’ (Sajjáda). If not named, they were often described as ‘clouds’, strange clouds indeed! Sakínah (arabic) is synonymous with Shakhínah or Merkavah (hebrew) and Vimánas (vedic), referred to in modern times in the west as ‘Flying Saucers’. |
